Mission Statement
The Oriental Health Academy™ was originally founded as the Oriental Health Association following the first visits of Dr. Xu Guo Rong in Italy in the ’90s for the purpose of holding seminars and workshops to improve the level of comprehension and application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) expressed in Tuina (Manual Therapy). The purpose of the Academy is to help expand recognition and study of the science and philosophies behind what are referred to as the “Internal Arts” in China.
Dr. Xu Guo Rong (Dr. Gordon Xu) is the chief adviser to the Academy for TCM and Longmen Qigong.
Master Richard Ellis is President and Technical Director.
